San Francisco Silent Film Festival Footage
At July's San Francisco Silent Film Festival, I recorded Leonard Maltin's introduction to King Vidor's The Patsy starring Marion Davies, and I have uploaded my videos to YouTube. I used a Kodak camera, not a video camera, so the image quality was sacrificed by zooming, but the sound came out fine. My camera only records video when I hold down the photograph button. From time to time, my thumb became tired, so moments of the talk were lost, and segment four does not appear. YouTube would not accept so short and choppy a fragment.
