The German techno goddess returns!
I'm excited to see Ellen Allien for the second time soon. I skipped her last appearance here because: 1) I did not want to listen to the umpteen trance DJs before and after her and 2) I am aging and staying up until 6 AM does not bring me any jollies. It's not edgy or exotic. I've seen the sun rise before. I need a very good reason to disturb my dream time.
Allien will be spinning at Mighty. I have no idea when the party stops at that place. The last time I went there, I saw Carl Cox DJ. vestalvixen and I left that show at half past three in the morning, and he was still spinning.
It seems Xlr8r Magazine has turned the night into their fifteenth anniversary bash. Check out their flyer below.

I'm excited to have scooped up my ticket when it was just a $15 show, but I fear the place will be crawling with hipsters. I hope the squish isn't as bad as the one that drove Vestal out of the Miss Kittin New Year's Eve show. At least Vestal and I will have each other this time. We can confront the squish on two sides.
