Hunger led me to expirimenting with eggs today, and I discovered that there is more to eggs than meets the eye. Rumaging through the fridge I found a dozen hardboiled eggs that were supposed to be painted for easter. Seizing the oppertunity, I grabbed a pair of them and a couple slices of toast. With the intention of making an egg salad sandwich I set out to open the eggs... at first I cracked the shell on the surface of the kitchen counter... succeeding only in sending little peices of shell sliding around. Then I began to peel little sections of the egg shell off. Believing that perhaps there was a faster way to do this I grabbed the egg in one hand and squeezed it... Oh, what a fool I am. The only accomplishment to this procedure was making the process of breaking up the actual egg a little easier... but to put it vaguely my egg salad was a lot crunchier than it should have been, and I am positive could quite possibly have passed as a calcium supplement. Kookoo later informed me that peeling a hardboiled egg is as simple as running it under water.
Perhaps next time I will not have to spend 15 minutes removing egg shell shards from inbetween my teeth.
