I think things often work themselves out in the end. Had a relatively
good end to a relatively poor start to the week. Gone is the emo-ness!
I can't pinpoint which was the best part, but will list them down. And
I have come up with a New Year's Resolution about 1.5 months too late.
I shall listen to music I would not normally listen to. This explains
the downloads of pseudo-opera quartet Il Divo, the latest of Belle and
Sebastian and a completely new-to-me Arctic Monkeys. Am downloading the
latter because the Guardian gave it good reviews and I trust the
Guardian, so. On another note, have the latest Jack Johnson! Am in
total loving. :)
(Vincee, I cannot believe you deleted his 1st 2 albums!) >:(
Okay, now for a happy countdown (in reverse chronological order)!
- Jack Johnson album: Acoustic always makes me smile, because it's so simple and yet so heart-rendering.
- Chelsea: Zomg, they lost. That's a miracle in itself, and also cos we won, and times like these are hard to come by.
- STJ: It was really fun, and I made new friends! Bernice is so cute! Also because Ryan is love. <3
- Fighting Mr Perry with a lightsabre: Now believe me, that was fun.
- Budak!: I can hardly
begin, because they are the epitome of light-hearted humour and
everything else doesn't seem to matter! Shall feel enticed by the
yuppie lifestyle again. Also, the RIAS guy with a song to his
wife just killed me. Which is why all the songs I've downloaded
are not done through P2P.
- Window shopping with Sams: Good buys, although it left me really broke. :(
- 1st Lit Wing session: A little weird, but nice to have new juniors I guess. :)
I'm left with an abominable load of history to do, but I am relatively
happy anyway. Urgh, and curses at stupid Artic Monkeys songs that
have such long titles (coupled with a long album name) - this makes my
Music folder look extremely ugly. The music had better make up
for disrupting the alignment of my song titles.
P.S. I LOVE MY SECRET VALENTINE! (and also the one whom I'm the Secret Valentine of.) :D
