The other day ...
On the way to the doctors for my monthly BP check up last thursday, Sarah and Daniel were discussing street signs. During the in-depth discussion regarding No Parking signs, Sarah told Daniel that the Police can park wherever they like because they are the Police and not human beings.

The kids spent a good deal of the afternoon in the pool today. I emptied half a bottle of shampoo in there and those bubbles really frothed up. Yesterday they decided to draw all over themselves ... in texta ... so I figured a good soak in the pool with some sort of soapy stuff would be a good idea. It's fading off slowly.

Tonight we sat outside playing I Spy and watching Xmas lights accross the road. The neighbour a few houses down put his sprinkler on and it was a rather lovely archy peacock kind of fountain effect. The kids sooo wanted to go over and say hello and we love your sprinkler. It was 36c today, tomorrow it's expected to be hotter. For those of you who have seen the photo of the front of the house, you'll be familiar with a rather large tree on the front lawn. Tonight it was named. Tree Tree. The kids spoke to Tree Tree for a while, with Tree Tree's voice provided by mum. Sarah watered it cause it was rather thirsty. Daniel hugged it. The cats ran around it chasing moths.

We're back inside now. It's 10:30pm and flippin too hot to go to sleep. There's a show about train crashes Daniel wants me to tape for him so I'll do that in a bit. Check you all later.xxxxxx
