And the verdict is...
After about 2 months of waiting, 13 job applications and 4 interviews..... I HAVE A JOB! I'll be working at 51 Mill Street in Wolfeboro. Its a new restaurant and bar that is opening up next week, meaning for the third time in my life I'll be part of the starting crew at a restaurant. Currently I'll be in the kitchen doing food prep and dishwashing, and I will also be bussing 1-3 shifts per week. I am absolutely pumped to finally have a job and a good source of ca$h (yes, I used the dollar symbol... I'm that happy to earn money).
On a sad note, I don't think I am going to make it up to St. Mike's this weekend. After watching the news last night and this morning, it appears that we are supposed to get anywhere from 12-30 inches of snow tomorrow. This is awesome because I love snow, but terrible because it means I'll have to stick around and help dig out, plus the roads will be too shitty to drive up. Plan B is to try and make it up the weekend after for a night or two, depending on if I'll be able to make it up or not on Friday. Hopefully I can, because I miss it up there very much (and also because apparently someone needs to be reminded of their "Cheiftain of the Fagpony" status).
Thats it for now though. If anybody from St. Mike's does read this before I talk to them, give me a shout so I can figure out what will happen if I do or don't come up.
