Oh baby what a weekend!
It was definitely an exciting weekend in the Tuftonboro/Wolfeboro area.... as hard as that is to believe. Friday night I went to Weston's for poker night. It was good to see the all the guys, since we haven't played in over a month and a half. I had to work last night, which I was really bummin about, but I'm so happy we stayed open. There was barely any business, so we played poker at work (shhh its illegal!) and long story short I won $65. I'm absolutely pumped about this and I might be going over to Funspot again on Thursday to try another tourney. Nick and I worked out a deal that if either of us place and another doesn't we'll spot each other money so hopefully neither of us will loose money. After playing this weekend I feel very confident that I can do well and I'm ready to give it another shot.
As far as the basketball pool goes, it was another drama filled weekend. Although I'm currently in second by four points I have a great chance to win. All I need is for North Carolina to win it all and I'll be $180 dollars richer (plus I'll be wet and cold because I've been told if I win I'm getting thrown in Back Bay :-D).
Not much else to report for the weekend. I think its going to be a pretty mellow week, which I need because I feel like I haven't rested in a LONG time. Because of this I probably won't update until Thursday/Friday when I talk about the latest Funspot tourney. However if something amazing does happen, such as a herd of sheep escaping from a local farm, I will make sure to keep all of you informed.
