Post~ post~!
and i'm going to Alphabetize things to make it better.
A is for Allspice, I foudn it in the supermarket and it's great to dash into coffee~ especially when it's all cold and horrible outside.
B is for Break in's. My sister's got broken into on sunday it was horrible, they completely ransacked her room and because the back door didn't lock properly but hadn't been fixed yet, she won't get anything on the insurence. Fortunatly she didn't have all that much there but they stole her ipod, digicam and some jewellery (albeit malf her costume jewellary rather than her expensive Jade necklace) and for some odd reason, her leather riding gloves.
C is for Clapping, which is on Blur's Parklife track and is impossible if you try and sing/talk at the same time. Seriously need Dedicated clapper.
D is for Danger, I hate the road right outside of Seminar 2; I swear that blind corner is a deathtrap.
E is for Energy. I just have none lately. I used to be able to stay up till 2am, get up at 7 and be fine but i just can't anymore. Probably because it's cold but it's annoying!
F is for Fish Pie. Which I made last night and turned out suprisingly good, although as per usual i had nowhere near enough mash potato. Must remember the trick with the melted butter and the flour to make the sauce all thick and nice.
G is for Granny who i need to telephone and keep forgetting to! eep~
H is for House, which may or may not be sorted, seeing as we have found a fifth person finally and he has the forms and yet i have heard nothing from anyone about anything. *worry worry*
I for Insert text and how much i wish that whenever i type, my computor didn't automatically go into overtype mode. grrr~
J is for Jam. I take back whatever cruel things I have ever said about kiwi fruit. I may have mentioned it, but Mame's mother gave me a jar of kiwi jam and it is honest to god especially on brown toast.
K is for Keigo, which is not as difficult as I thought it would be.
L is for Lemon Syllabub. We had a cooking party recently and I made one of these. Here is the recipie; it's delicious!
Ingredients
55g/2oz caster sugar
½ lemon, finely grated zest only
3 tbsp lemon juice
150ml/5fl oz sweet white wine or Madeira
290ml/10fl oz double cream
4 black grapes, halved and pips removed, to garnish
small rosemary sprig, to garnish
Method
1. Warm the sugar, juices and zest gently until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow to cool slightly.
2. Add the wine or Madeira.
3. Whip the cream to soft peaks. Fold in the wine mixture.
4. Pour into tall stemmed glasses and chill well.
5. Serve decorated with grapes and a small rosemary sprig.
M is for Mama, namely Kim's host mama, who is super nice and letting Matt and me come around for dinner this friday~ ^^ and we aptly learnt Keigo this week, how very usefull.
N is for the net which is providing me with TV, or at least DL's to watch. Started back on FMA, for lack of anything better to do. FOrgot how much i liked the prison arc with Barry the Chopper.
O is for old freinds..Finally got my DVD and an apology back from Tin; so things are all patched up between us, which is nice. I dislike beign at odds with people, contrary to public opinion.
P is for Purchases and Plum. I need to buy some more sensible shoes, and i want to go see the plum blossom which is out in force, before it all vanishes.
Q is for....Quibbles which i have with my reading and writing class. See Y.
R is for Roadworks, They've closed the shortcut between Uni and sem and it's killing my bike tires as you haev to go over unsurfaced road and then take the long way around which is hard on the extemities in the early morning freeze.
S is for Syuusuke and Shinji who I am thinking about dropping from the Island. It's dead guys, and i don't have the time for it anymore. They'll still be up for imprompu private logs, but i'm not going to bother with the journals any more.
T is for Tango, which is Japanese for 'vocabulary' and inspired at midnight last night the followign conversation:
Heather: meh~ I don't want to learn tango...
Me: Learn the samba instead then :D~
Heather: ......Samba? *gets out japanese dictionary*
Me:...like the dance.
Heather: ....OH!
U is for Uncles. Mine's visiting Japan soon; we're going to go to the aquarium and get sushi and fun things like that.
V is for Valentines card, which arrived belatedly in my post box. ^^~* thank you oh 'mysterious' sender.
W is for Walrus, which Kim can do an excellent impression of with her fluffy scarf.
X is for Xanthus Xanthus, aka Swordfish, which is all I can think of for X. Though i wouldn't mind eating one.
Y is for Yoko Onno, who if we have to do another stupid True or False thing on once more i'm going to start a rebellion. I don't care! she's not interesting; her poetry and art are so-so ( i dislike modern art before you ask) and I still think she only got famous because of the whole beatles scandal. She is, regardless, NOT worth a weeks worth of lessons.
Z is for Zebedee, because I say so.
