Weekend was not all that bad. The mother was away doing some course so it was just me and dad and the cats. Spent my time between procrastinating on doing my essay, watching films and doing Important things. Watched some good films actually; Fly Daddy Fly which is a lot funnier than i thought it would be and for a cliche sounding plot (feeble salary man learns to fight) was much much better than it sounds. That and the little ex-boxer guy in it is pretty good-looking. XD

Also watched Suicide Club which is gross in the way Japanese films are gross with oodles of fake blood and some improbable self-harming. I'm sorry but noone can cut off thier fingers like that without flinching. Oh and the plot behind it all made no sense whatsoever. But it was an interesting film nonetheless and quite enjoyable when i wasn't trying to eat.

Followed the gore-fest hastily up with Lovely Complex. which is nice and fluffly and ~ridiculous~.

Ho hum what else is new? Cooked Okonomiyaki for me and dadbut i'm not sure he really liked it all that much. To be fair, i did have to substitute a few ingrediants and the batter wasn't quite right. >.>; never mind. I cooked steak the next night and i think that went down a lot better.

Had another wierd dream last night but i can't remeber what it was about. Srrsly though, Mr Bowie, we must stop meeting like this~XD

Spent ages yesterday uploading a vast amount of artwork to DA. two whole pages worth in fact; http://r05km.deviantart.com/gallery/  check it out. I'm pretty sure hence forth Sumi-e wll take up most of my artistic pursuits.

And now a meme i just invented:

Put your ipod/whatever on shuffle. For each song, write down something you assosiate with it, or it reminds you of.  Do it until you get bored.

1 Castaway by Greenday
Being 16, wearing flares, sitting smoking pot in my freinds bedroom and hoping her dad won't catch us.

2. I've had my fun by Ray Charles.
Writing my final psychology paper last year. Boy that sucked.

3. Yokan by Dir en Grey
Red adzuki bean sweets. Though i'm pretty sure that's not really what the song is about.

4. Room at the Top by Adam Ant.
Carnillia and all the crazy crap on Glam lols. Nothing beats supriseblowjob! Bowie or fatastral!Marc.

5. I wanna b your dog by Stooges
Going clubbing in London with my sister. hahah, old school 'disco'. awesome stuff.

6. Strangers from Wolfs Rain by Yoko Kanno.
Sitting around watching anime with Emily and being a lazy bum. XD

7. Truckin' by Grateful Dead
Being stuck in a traffic jam in all the floods coming back from France last summer.

8. Pushing the Sky by Yoko Kanno
Doing 50-60 files worth of binding in four hours at work. I think i had this song on repeat at one point. It's a good rompy song good for doing repetitive tasks to.

9. Turn by Travis.
Sitting on the stile in the field, pretending that i'm out walking the dog and just... not going any further. Sorry Harry. I was a selfish teenager; what can I say? You got to chase a lot of bunnies though, in my defence.

10. Kathy's song by Simon and Garfunkel.
Looking after the house alone for a forthnight whilst the parents are in the Carribean and working my way through a whole cabinet of vinal disks. This was on the album i made sausage rolls to.

11. Black and White town by Doves
Shopping in Oxford and fopp before it closed.

12. Just Checkin' by The Beautiful South
Driving to Kylie's house in Frampton. Dad had a best of 'South in his car on autoplay for the best part of two years and we'd always arrive on this song. I'm kind of sick of it....

13. Sides to a Story by Robert Rankin and various artists.
It's not smashing pumpkins but it reminds me of them despite the heavy meta Screaming and groaning. very Da-da-de-da-da. Going up the Victoria with Hen and the rest, listening to the live bands and getting drunk on cider. And loathing chain-smokers,

14. 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky
A really excellent firework display at the Westonbirt Arboreatum. They timed everything perfectly to the music which was doubly impressive because it was a live orchestra.

15. These Foolish Things by Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music.
My mum. she's a big fan. And Fox Hunting. Ferry's son is a bit pro-hunt guy and kept ruffling feathers in the five valleys by going out and killing off poor foxy-woxy with hounds and getting fined.  good for him

16. Dangermouse Theme tune
lol. Dangermouse, funnily enough. Fantastic cartoon.

17. Taion by The Gazette
Haha, dolling up to go out clubbing with the girls (and some of the boys) in Oxford. Smokey eyemakeup and some killer heels. Unbeatable.

18. Things by Robbie Williams
Being stuck on the motorway actually. Driving to Grannies this time though and being horribly carsick. Sorry Robbie, it wasn't you. Honest.

19. Eight Days a Week by The Beatles.
Geh. Year 11 keyboard concert. I was on after the girl who played this. Bless her, poor lamb, she was very nervous and royally screwed up.

20. Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty.
Walking down Baker street having just gotten the bus from Oxford and getting lost trying to find the underground. There was a pretty good art shop down there though. and a reasonable coffee shop (with nice waiters who gave me directions. yum!)

21. Under my thumb by the rolling Stones
The 'Stones concert in Cardiff and the hardcore Welshie's with their inflatable palmtrees and flamingos.

22. Tokinomida by UVERworld
Long hours on the internet. On LJ, in fact

23. Stuck in the middle with you by Stealers Wheel
Rag Week. Oh man. Top of the Flops; Man-o-man, Mr Downfield, the rugby team aution. drunk naked 6th formers falling naked on the year 7s. Good times.

24. Play Dead by Bjork.
The bus home from High school. Playing dead was not a bad idea with all the manic chavvy year nines. stupid stagecoach buses were so crap ad expensive.

ok, bored now....
