The sun is setting
I can see the world burning
I smile anyways

When snow has fallen
And everything is silent,
Why cant we start fresh?

Windows frame the world
Hiding behind panes of glass
Keep a safe distance

I look in the trees
Power lines are cutting through
Where did nature go?

Flapping in the wind
The flag is always watching
What do we fight for?

Sometimes it’s a book
Sometimes we run for our lives
Its all adventure

Outside your window
I would play you anything
If you really cared
