I checked bear's pockets at bedtime tonight (mostly because when he flung them across the room toward the laundry pile things spiraled out) and found the following items:
  • Several crumpled up pieces of paper
  • A bent out of shape paperclip; reportedly a "gift from his teacher"
  • A red bead
  • A washer
  • A wrapper of unknown origin
  • A small metal ball
  • Several coins
  • A rusty bolt
  • A four inch rusty piece of a chain link fence
Apparently we will have to have a chat with him about tetanus. It can't faze me, however; not since I discovered (back in the old house) his secret cache of tampon applicators rescued from the bathroom trash.
