This depends on what type of religion you're talking about. If you're talking about Christianity, catholicism, mormanism, or anything relating to God, then I guess I'd have to say its evil. I don't really like that word for this particular subject, but its the word of choice you used.

Personally, I think those having to do with God are brainwashing, and give people something to believe in simply for the fact that they have nothing else to believe in. The Bible tells how everything was created, and since they think the 'big bang' theory is complete BS, they choose to believe in the next best thing. Satanism is a little more accurate, or believable if you will, and I know someone who is a Satanist. He is one for all the right reasons. I hate how Christianity stereotypes Satasnism by the way, it's just horrible. People should really read up on it before making assumptions.

If you're talking about something like Islam, well I don't really have much in a say in it, except for how weird it is. They have to walk to some place every day and pray to some guy. I don't fully remember what its about so someone needs to refresh my memory, but I learned about it a bit last year when I was in PA. Buddhism wouldn't be bad to take up because they actually worship someone who was a REAL HUMAN BEING, not a mystical creature or whatever. But then again, I don't know much about that either.

It also all depends on why you choose to believe in whatever religion. Like most Christians do, if you're just believing it because you feel guilty of sin, or because you don't know what else to believe on how time started, then it's pathetic. Science explains a lot, and so does being open minded. Come up with your own theory. No one can prove anything unless they have seen it, and they have not seen anything.

These are all my own opinions, so if anyone tries to fight me on them, don't even try. You can't fight an opinion. You only make yourself look competitive, and dumb.
