Oh GOD

Trawling through the classifieds like any decent hobo unemployed person, I came across an advert - placed in the wrong area - for a SECDONARY ENGLISH TEACHER in a Christian school, amazingly enough in just the next suburb. Excitedly I went to their website and clicked on their employment form...
They asked questions about faith ("How long have you known Christ as Lord and Savior?") and then they asked questions about church ministers and to what extent I've been involved with the church in the past 5 years. Heartbreaking. It is only this year that I will be involved in a church, and only this year that I will have a church I will tell people I belong to, not just 'visiting'. I'm sure I can write about how I've been involved with church activities, but what do I write down for name, address, telephone number of the minister? I feel it would be wrong to get the pastor for the church I've been attending on and off for the past so many years to write me a glowing reference.

Looking further at this 12 page application form, these questions are terribly curly. On page 4:
What do you think about the theory of evolution and its relationship to what the Bible teaches?

Even the questions on the following pages on teaching practices within the classroom - it's been at least a year since I had to dredge up this kind of knowledge. What the heck is ICT again?
