One month can take you a long way. It took Sara from the roof of the FBI building to the landing outside Neal's airy little loft.
When he opened the door, a symphony of divine scents wafted over her. Neal gestured expansively.
"Gazpacho, Italian wedding soup, chilled fruit soup for dessert...and as an amuse..." He took a pair of espresso cups from the oven. Sara heard a tiny plinking sound right before he handed her one.
She looked down into the delicate consommé, and laughed, seeing the little orange cracker floating on top. It was shaped like a fish.
