Yes... so finally I've rid myself of that shitty dell AND windows.
I've been converted... In the meantime, when your dells break (or before) I have a user accessible 512 mb of ram to upgrade with, a fairly new battery, an ac adapter, + 256 mb non user accessible memory and everything else that's in those dells sans a hard drive.
If any of you need something in the future just ask. I won't necessarily want compensation, but it'd be nice and I'd expect you to be cheap.
If any of you happen to have a spare 2.5 inch lappy hd... also tell me, I'd like to have it.
