Hey everyone! Guess what? I'm still here! As usual, it's been way too long since I've posted, but, being inspired by my good (former) roommate Amanda, I figured now might be a good time to post a quick update.

Well, after a summer of doing research in the Biology department, I'm still hanging out at UND for one more year. Currently studying cytotechnology. I'll give ya 100 bonus points if you know what that means! *L* Anyway, I can't believe how much we've learned already in the past month and a half! Although it still seems like we don't know much of anything. (And I guess we don't....that's why there's stil 10 months left of the program!)

I enjoyed taking care of about 800 snapping turtle, and 200 Missisipi alligator eggs this summer. I won't elaborate too much on that experience, because not everyone really enjoys hearing about what we did with the babies. Just suffice it to say that we were looking at genetic expression in temperature dependant organisms. Lots of fun.

Not looking forward to winter rolling around soon, although I guess my dad was bringing my winter coat up today, so that will be nice to have around.

Anyway, I better get back to scanning some more slides. Boy does lunch go by quickly! Hope everyone is having a great fall!
