what a day.
I had a really bad day yesterday. Well, it started out bad.
I woke up before my alarm clock went off. Which is something i've been doing a lot lately. I hate waking up before my alarm clock, for some reason it just irks me. Upon waking up before my alarm, it was hotter then hell in my apartment. My air was "on" but my entire apartment was humid & sticky. I didn't think anything of it because there has been mornings where I wake up & i'm just hotter then usual. We have a down comforter & even when the air is on, I always wake up sweating to death.
I took a shower & started getting ready. My hair was just being annoying & that always pisses me off. I have think wavy/curly hair & planned on just throwing some mouse in it & calling it a day. Except I didn't know that I barely had any mouse left. I ended up blow drying it & then getting ready to go to the store to get cat food. It was so humid outside that it made my hair feel sticky & icky. It was sticking to my neck, getting frizzy. I hate when my hair does that.
I get home & my hair looks like crap, even though I had just done it not even a half hour before. I threw it up, or at least tried to. It was so frizzy it didn't want to do anything that I wanted it to. Then I had to get ready to go into Olive Garden & the uniform for that place is just not good for hot weather. I felt gross all day long, like I stunk or something.
When I get home it's still hotter then hell in my apartment. I looked at the thermostat & it was reading at 80 degrees. The air was running, or so it sounded like it was. I cranked it down to 50 and stood under the vent ... NOTHING. No air what so ever was coming out. I turned it back up & off and called the office to let them know. But of course they never came out. They never do. So we spent the evening & night trying to cool off.
Thank god today it's not humid outside, there's a nice breeze & it feels perfect. & Allison was so nice to run to the store & pick me up some more mouse :) what a nice girlfriend.
Allison takes her physical next friday. Our lives could possibly be changing here in the near future :)
