Go State!
Occurances that reminded me of why I love Mississippi State:
-Staying up until 2:30 watching Beauty and the Beast and laughing all the way through it!
-Walking down the Drill Field and hearing a conversation on physics between two guys, one w/ a foreign accent and the other with one of the most Southern accents I've ever heard.
-Hearing the chimes from the Chapel of Memories playing "Do re mi" from The Sound of Music at noon.
-Spending the few minutes before class starts talking about how terrible the football team is...with at least 6 football players!
-Passing the landscaping crews in the morning and having everyone wave and tell you good morning
-Speaking French with a girl from Romania
-Being invited to my Sociology teacher's children's birthday party
-Having 260 high school students coming this Saturday for the high school band day! We've already exceded our number of seats given to us by the athletic department and we've had to turn away another 25-30 students because of that!
