My apologies. When I took the quote I did imagine a much longer fic for this one (and it may show up in some form in another, longer Doctor Who fic), but this scenario just reached up and grabbed me and I had to admit it fit the quote much better and seemed much better for it. So while I intended a multi - parter, it morphed into a one - shot. Again, I'm so sorry.
