I recognize Dachau. I went there *gasp* 30 years ago. It still gave me the chills looking at your pictures of it, and I had to hurry past the black and white images of people. Horrifying!
I'm thinking of going to Germany for a quick trip over Thanksgiving, so your post was a nice preview.

Oh, it is so hard to decide! I see myself best living in Lausanne in Switzerland, if only because I rather have an affinity for French culture and it was easier for me to adjust. But I really enjoyed Salzburg, too -- it's such a quaint little place, and so gorgeous!
Do tell me about your trip when you take it! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. :)
