Oh my goodness.
I dont keep up with new very often as there's usually little of interest
however today had a bumper crop

The APEC meeting in September will have helicopters that blck mobile reception around Bush Jnr, specifically his car, to stop mobile-phone detonated bombs. So much for anyone wanting to make a regular call.
Also, they're closing St James, Museum and Circular Quay railway stations for the duration (Fri 7 - Sun 10 Sept). These being three of the six stops around the city. They're also considering closing the Harbour Bridge. I'd recommend ppl in Sydney take Friday off work as there was no way of getting there or back.

US government has issued a licence for a shotgun to a 10-month old baby. The father filled in the aplication, including the child's correct height and weight, and the baby scribbled in the signature section. Officials state that there is actually no age-limit to a gun licence.
