New Languages
I just love the period of time right when you start learning a new computer language. You are excited to do the simplest things and you think you actually understand it...then you realize you really can pretty much do the equivalent of add two numbers. After practice it gets better, but the beginning is still annoying. I went through the stage with Matlab, and now I'm going through it with Fortran. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy learning it and am looking forward to a time when I can actually accomplish things with the code. It is just a little while away.
