T-minus 2 days
So in less than two days I will be a college graduate. It is really weird to think of. My last final was the 11th and I've been here since that point. I'd say it's on of the best and worst times of college. It's great because you're finished and moving on to news things. It is the worst because you have to say goodbye to the friends you've made over the time you've been here. I guess it isn't all bad, since I will be close enough to come back and visit UR on occasion. It is excitement and fear all balled into one.
AHEM, anyways, I finally heard I officially got the internship in Livermore. The more I hear about it the more I am excited. They will pay for the majority of my travel, including the flight from a tiny airport like Elmira. The salary isn't too bad and the cost of living for a month is pretty cheap considering that it is Northern California. All in all it will be a trip for this kid who has known nothing but upstate NY his entire life. I am really looking forward to just doing as little as possible in Elmira or two weeks before I go to California.
