Argh!
So i take max tot he train station as I do every morning since he started his job in the CBD here, there's a train where were are but it's the slow train to the city that stops at every where along the way and it's fast for hi to catch the fast one from Kogorage down the road a bit at the next suburb.
So anyways I park up get out, say buhbye for the day, get back in the car and brush my hair out the face and recheck the mirror's good (it's compulsive habit) while I do this this woman in some sort of powder blue wreck drives up from behind and stops in front of where i'm parks (on the road) and starts indicating in. Since she's blocking the way out i just sit tight and don't turn the engine back on, assuming that.. y'know.. she's away to park somewhere ahead that i can't see.
So she sits there for 5 minutes.. the bus comes round and toots her since now he has to go around this stupid woman on a rather narrowish road at a busy time in the morning. She stays stoic and before long decideds to start reversing a bit. then stops.. then pulls forward... in the manner of an awkward parallel park that i myself have had to restart of occassion. Except there's no space and for a horrible moment i think she's away to crush me as i sit there.
So then she decides to put in closer to my car and reverse... until she's side by side with me and waving her arms around.. sill no space for me to get out of the park either. She's trying to indicate she wants to park in MY SPACE... while i can't move, while traffic can barely get around her.. what the hell?
SO then this guy two cars behind me leaves and wonder of wonders she immediate reverses violently back to that space to park in it after like over 10 minutes from the beginning of the affair.. not that i cared, I could sit there for an hour. I watch amused as she reverses straight onto the pavement and has to start again. when she eventually got parked and safely out of the car I started to pull out as she was walking past me, to my further amusement i realise the guy in front of me had been sitting in his car waiting for the same thing as he pulls out as well... hehehe.
but good grief, they really need stricter driving tests here to go with their strict road rules.
