Just embarked on a big tidy up (mainly because I don't want to leave the aircon comfort of the house). Pulled a huge number of books from under the bed, lots were X's but these were mine and I thought it might be interesting to catalogue them:
"Seven Million Years - The Story of Human Evolution" Douglas Palmer
"Eating for England" - Nigel Slater
'Little Women" - Louisa M Alcott
'The End of Science; Facing the Limits of Knowledge in the Twilight of the Scientific Age" - John Horgan
'Vermeer; A View of Delft' - Anthony Bailey
'Q Pages - A gay & Lesbian Business Directory" - free from October's Pride Parade
'A Short History of Nearly Everything' - Bill Bryson
'New Moon' - Stephenie Meyer
'Anne of Green Gables' - L.M. Montgomery
'The Illustrated Wee Free Men' - Terry Pratchett
X's were:
"The Peel Sessions; A Story of Teenage dreams and One Man's Love of New Music" - Ken Garner
"The Elfish Gene" - mark Barrowcliffe
"Downstream" - Tom Fort
"Andrew Marvell; pastoral & lyric poems 1681"
"The Druids" - Stuart Piggott
'The Fall of Chronopolis" - Barrington Bayley
"Empire of Two Worlds" - Barrington Bayley
"The Anatomy of Melancholy Volume 3" - Robert Burton
"The Anatomy of Melancholy Volume 4" - Robert Burton
"The Hobbit" - J.R.R Tolkein
"The Fellowship of the Ring" - J.R.R. Tolkein
"The Day Britain Died" - Andrew Marr
"The Invention of Dr Cake" - Andrew Motion

You can probably imagine how much dust there was...
