Imperfect Perfection?
So many people, even I
Say perfection can’t exist.
Maybe this is why one perfect moment
Is so easily missed.

When we realize a moment is perfect,
It’s already long gone.
The best thing to do is the most difficult,
And that’s simply moving on.

I know why it seems
So hard for me to do;
I know I can’t change
The way I feel about you.

If perfection comes a second time,
Maybe I will feel it.
If I have learned my lesson,
Next time I will reveal it.
