Today's theme centers on the obsessions fangirls have with Severus Snape. We first visited this theme with our Buttons! Quiz earlier this year. We need you to fill in the following blank.

I'm obsessed with his pride or ego or sense-of-self, however you want to word it. And I have some examples - Survivors by Dyce and The Caretaker by Aurette and And So It Comes To This by Odogodess. I know there are dozens more, but my brain isn't working too well right now.

Well, several of us are re-reading together Bloodcult of Freud's "7 Preposterous Things", in which Snape's voice plays a role. His speaking voice gets honorable mention, but in particular, his singing voice has a magic all its own.

Looking up over the rims of black, metal-framed reading glasses, he set the parchment aside and folded his glasses, tucking them inside his robes. He sat back in his chair, waiting for Hermione to speak.

Well not that it's any help, as I don't have specific examples and you have already mentioned both, but I love his voice, he could read the the back of a cereal box (with AR's smooth, sexy voice) and I'd sit there an drool through the whole thing. And number two is picturing him in reading glasses, looking up over the rims, *sigh*
