today i hit level 150 in maple story. i am really really excited about it because i've been playing this character for like 2 years now, and 150 is a serious achievement. the highest level you can get to is 200, so i'm almost there! in the grand scheme of things, i'm in the top 4000 of EVERYONE who plays the game and the top 500 of my world (which alone has over 750,000 players).
i've made some awesome maple friends, and my BFFs in the game came together to watch me level up. (my brother) ben made it on to join in the fun which was delightful because he hasn't been on in ages. we used to play together all the time. the fact that he actually took the time to sign on made it a really happy moment for me, and i took a ton of screenshots.
so anyway, it was a good day in maple, and a freezing cold but productive day outside of it. i carded up a bunch of wool that needs to be packaged and shipped directly (oops, i sold something i didn't have on hand), and i dyed some other stuff that i think i'm giving to my cousin.
i'm celebrating the new year with nick, a big mug of hot choco, and maybe my maple buddies if i feel like logging back in. if not, probably the novel i've been toiling over for months now. or my photo book i've been neglecting. i am really happy to have my alone time.
