we all went to get pizza for lunch today as we do on fridays, and as we were leaving the counter, the woman said to us, "happy holidays!" her mother, who was getting me a cup of sweet peppers yelled from the background, "IT'S MERRY CHRISTMAS! EVERYONE'S TRYING TO TAKE JESUS OUT OF CHRISTMAS!"
and i had to bite my lip, because believe me, i'm like the last person to support political correctness, but not everyone celebrates fucking christmas, and among those who do, not everyone cares about jesus.
