i woke up this morning and was having serious double vision. the first thing that i thought was "OMG, WHAT IF I CAN'T SEE WELL ENOUGH TO TEST WHEELS TOMORROW!?"
yesterday i was in one of the worst moods in possibly forever, and to top it all off, there was a pep rally at the end of the day. i was grumping around, not speaking to anyone, and my mentor teacher's student teacher was teasing me and joking around trying to make me feel better. might i add that he's around my age (one of only about 5 people around my age at my school!) and has one of the driest senses of humor EVER. needless to say, we get along really well.
so at first it was just pissing me off, but then it started getting really hilarious. we're standing there at the pep rally, and he's like, "COME ON AMBER, WHERE'S YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT!?" then he started clapping REALLY hard at everything. the cheerleaders came out next, and he's like, "YEAH, I'VE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR THIS!" the other teachers were looking at him like he was crazy because we were ALL so irritated and disgruntled, and he's like totally enjoying it.
so the cheerleaders come out and are doing their routine badly, and when the tumblers start flipping around, he starts cheering SO OBNOXIOUSLY "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. ha HA!" with this weird arm pumping motion. and the way he was doing it so sarcastically made it sound really lecherous instead of spirited, and even more hilarious. people were actually moving away from him because he was so embarrassing. i don't know, it ended up being kinda fun in a laughing at a funeral kind of way.
so in conclusion, the driest man in existence kept me from certain suicide yesterday. i applaud him. i actually really hope that he gets hired here this coming year, because i'll miss the hell out of him when he's gone. i would say we'll just hang out, but he has a girlfriend of forever, and girlfriends NEVER like me.
all last night i was considering sleeping today away so that tomorrow will come faster. i guess instead i'll clean the kitchen and wash my hairs.
