Originally uploaded by kittenlogic. i took the pictures yesterday because the sun was actually out. today it's overcast, humid poop weather. it's not all that exciting, because i got a lot of undyed stuff that i've never tried before, but it's exciting to me because i can't wait to see how it spins up.
clockwise, i guess: small sack of 4 handmade soaps, some alpaca from littlebarn, 1 lb. superwash merino, about 4 oz. sparkly pinkish fiber, jacquard in vermillion and kelly green, 4 oz cormo (SO SOFT), the two sacks there are both BFL from littlebarn, and the sack of firestar is from them, too, and finally, two more soaps. one soap is not pictured because it's in my shower.

every year we go to MSW i realize that i need to bring more and more money. my granny was awesome and sent me a card packed with $$ to take with me, which was amazingly sweet of her since i was going to have been on a serious budget without it.

Originally uploaded by kittenlogic. the other amazing things this week have been this wonderful sunset as seen from my little porch, and the fact that my school called me today for an interview. finally! i'm so excited. everyone who works there is totally rooting for me. it's in two weeks, and i'd rather not talk about it because i'll go nuts. of course i put in at other schools, but i really love mine (as much as the kids pissed me off sometimes), and hope it works out.
all that time i wasn't posting here i was hiding out, thinking about my life. i know i said i wanted to teach college, and screw high school, but i changed my mind after speaking with a number of my ex co-workers. don't ask! it's a long story accompanied by many gonads and strife, because no matter what i do, it's the wrong thing according to my mother. WHATEV! i think i'll be happy, and if i'm not, i'll run away to africa or something. dave chappelle style.
