I would be more than happy to help you with the wedding. I did my own, so I know what you're going through.

For a while, I was thinking of doing our wedding at the Venetian. They have some very affordable options. I think some of them were on the bridge, inside. There'd be regular people around, but still pretty. Though I bet with the decline in tourism, you might be able to swing some deals, esp if you have guests book at the same hotel.

I'm also happy to have ideas bounced off of me, if'n you want.

As far as your malicious website... I'll check it out tomorrow at work. :D

=) Yay! It would definitely help to have advice from someone who's been there. I think the problem is that we have a lot of "maybe" guests who would take the wedding from totally affordable to too expensive for what I want out of a wedding. However, you can't exactly send out invites and then book the place... so I am trying to get my parents and Joel to poke around and find out who would be interested in coming out. I pretty much get stuck there with an "oh, ok" and then nothing. This, ultimately, is what's stressing me out, I think. My parents are the biggest problem because they're paying for it, so I can't say no to them wanting to invite some of their friends that I don't really care about.

So once I figure that out, I think it will be easier. How do you even begin to get quotes on cost when you're not sure if your wedding is for 30 guests or 90 guests? /sigh

Island theme wedding? Go get Bob and Monica to help. lol

Bob is the island lifestyle....as much as one can be being landlocked in Austin.

That allergy thing is going around out there big time. Bob was saying that he was miserable for about a month or so. You should hit up Whole Foods and see what they have in the means of allergy stuff. I know that if you have congestion too, you can use Red Clover Blossoms and Mullein to help with the congestion and sinuses. There is also a sinus vitamin (no you don't stick it up your nose) made by New Chapter that works really well in preventing the allergies in the future.

What is your daily caloric intake? I have hit this horrible plateau and can't seem to break it. I am only taking in roughly 800-1000 calories a day though and I am a bit worried to drop it any further than that.

I'll have to check that out. I'm taking the claritin way out until I can figure out sometime less medicine-y.

My advice is eat roughly DOUBLE what you're eating now and I think you'll start seeing losses. Men are not supposed to drop below 1500 calories or you'll go into starvation mode where your metabolism gets super low. If you've been eating 1000 calories for quite a while don't go doing it at once, increase your calories like 100 a day every few days. You might gain a bit at first, but give it a week or 2 and I bet you'll see losses. You probably will be less tired too!

Then again, this is from stuff I've read on the interwebs and my own experiences, so take it with a grain (shaker) of salt.

oh... and I am in NO WAY comparing you to the annoying person at the lab. I'd love to hear about you and Jets' plans (and any wackiness/zanyness/aggravatey-stuff about the 'making-of') that you'd like to share.
