30ish beautiful people chanting "2010 for the win" while raising our glasses, bottles, and small friends to the end of 2009.
Well, the end of 2009 and, more importantly, the beginning of 2010.
Most people I love had a pretty rough year, especially when it comes to interpersonal relationships. And health. And cars. And finances. And mental stability.
This year was often brutal in very cunning ways, and tried very hard to bring us down.
But, we made it, guys.
We absolutely fucking made it.
And, we're stronger, smarter, and more determined than ever to not have another 2009; another out-of-control year where lives flip upside down, hearts break, and people we love die or leave our lives too early just isn't allowed.
We are taking the reigns.
I never thought surviving a single year would feel like such an accomplishment. The gratitude I feel is immense.
If you're reading this, I love you and send my best wishes for an amazing new year.
I also have a favour to ask: please put all you have in your heart out there for the world.
Please.
Give freely of your love, positive intentions, peaceful wishes, and strength, because without them, we're going to be back to square one (also known as 2009) and that's not acceptable. Stagnation and regression have no place in this year.
This year is about moving forward and seizing opportunity. Go and do it, my loves.
