*riding the saddle once more*
mmm. its been a while, as usual. what can i say? i'm lousy at the journal thing, unlike some of you, who make my day with your intelligent, picture-laden posts. life has been good for me lately... although unexpectedly so. a lot of things have been going through my head about the nature of love, because i've met someone who i'm really starting to care about. wonder if it's a predestined thing, or if WE create love... mmm, i'm predisposed to think the latture, probably because i'm a hopeless romantic.
highlights of my vacation have included hot tubs under a full moon, hiking on the beach, driving scenic roads, seeing yosemite and a whole lot more that i forget but that are documented in a series of mostly bad pictures and a few inspired ones. if anyone cares, ask away to view. christmas was good.. got a pair of new shoes from the north face, a new dell laptop, with a backpack to carry it in, some books, shower stuff, and a bunch of unimportant minor things.
moaned about the fact that CAL played in the holiday bowl, and LOST. what the fuck? they were supposed to go to the rose bowl, weren't they? *shakes my head* just a travesty, utter, utter. did you see what randy moss did the other night?! totally without CLASS. at least they didn't show a replay like they did of the fight artest started ;) don't get me started on how i think athletes should have a little dignity...
was thinking away. a new year is upon us, and what has changed for me? a lot..in many ways. i see the world with clearer eyes, acknowledge my own ignorance, and find ways to be humbled by the beauty out there every day. as for resolutions... stay off the tobacco is a big one.. and another is to make this new relationship i'm about to embark upon the best i've ever been in.. bright, bold and beautiful.
