money money money
I got a $45 tip last night! This guy came in with his daugther (she was my age, maybe a little older) and they ate and what not, but then we ended up having this 20 minute long conversation about various things, work, school, money, etc. They both work at a country club, and he highly recommended I work at one because he said they make real good money. He wrote down his number, and the number of the country club he works at and says I should look into it sometime around March of next year. Sounds good to me. Well, their check was $31 and they paid with a credit card. He said my tip was in there (the dessert menu we use for our checks) and that it would be cash. And well I didn't look until they left, but they waited around another moment, until I came out and the guy handed me 2 more 10's. I was like omg. Then I went on main line and opened it up, there was $25 in it, so a $45 tip! I can't even explain how awesome I felt lol. I'm still really happy about it!
