babies babies babies

Today was a great day at the hospital. I got to spend most of my day holding and feeding the babies, and I even changed a poopie diaper. I basically spent the majority of the day helping this one nurse Cheryl and we took a baby down to X-rays too. I also folded linen of course, but I had a good time.

Yesterday I was zonked, so I came home from work (I worked in the morning) and took a 2 hr nap. Before I did so I called Lance to see if he could make it over to his brother's to look for desktop speakers we could maybe use (since ours are prolly shot and my parents bought a sound card, which we prolly don't need cuz when we plugged in headphones, it worked). He said sure, after he eats and the like he'll call me and I can meet him over there (cuz I wanted to play some DDR). Well of course I was sleeping, I planned on it anyway, but I hate how I feel when I wake up from naps, which is prolly why I don't like taking them all that often. So I went over there around 7:30-8ish and played like an hour of DDR and then helped Lance by holding a flashlight so he could pound some nails into the inside of a kitchen cabinet. I luv helping him, it makes me feel good and vice versa.

Got my oil changed a little while ago too. I found out what's making that noise when I turn off and on the AC, it's the AC clutch. The place where I get the oil change at is way too overpriced and he estimated that it would cost $250-$300. No way. Now that I know what's wrong, I'll take it to our family car repairman, where he can prolly do it for $75-$100ish. Every year I usually take my car to him to get it checked out and make sure everything's good to go for the winter. Winter's a bitch.

Melanie called me today! Good lord, it's hard to get ahold of people to hang out with them, but she wanted to know what I was doing. She gets off of work around 8 so she said she'd call me then and we can prolly hang out. Haven't seen her in FOREVER.

So let's see, what to do what to do, oh um a lot. So I should get going, peace out!
