Appearances can be deceiving. For example, consider the prices of automobiles. You would think that a Buick would cost more than a BMW, because a Buick has three shields on its logo, whereas a BMW merely has a linoleum pattern. However, a BMW can cost more than a thousand dollars more than a Buick. Appearances are not always deceiving, though. A Cadillac has not only a coat of arms, but a laurel wreath for its logo, and it is the most expensive car of all, its name being virtually synonymous with wealth and prestige, as shown in this Roger Miller song:
I got a big ol' Cadillac with wired wheels
Got rhinestones on the spokes
Got credit down at the grocery store
and my barber tells me jokes...
