yes, this is my third entry in a row. shut up.
my manang karen (manang is a term of respect for someone older--she's my cousin of some kind, and she's in her thirties) has been pregnant for a while. she's due in january or february, i think. her boyfriend that got her pregnant is a douchebag. he basically does whatever his mom (a divorcee) and his sister tell him to, and she wanted to get married and so did he but his mom and sister talked him out of it. we think it's because they don't like that manang karen is asian. losers.
anyway.
her parents live in the philippines. my sister just called me and told me that after the baby's born manang karen wants to SEND HER CHILD TO THE PHILIPPINES SO HER MOM CAN RAISE IT FOR HER. and no, i'm not kidding. WHAT IS SHE THINKING?! she's thirtysomething freaking years old and she's not mature enough to take care of a kid. seriously. put yourself aside for once and take responsibility for your actions. it's not like she's eighteen and in college. she's got a stable career, she lives on her own...jeez. i just really want to know what's going through her head right now to make her think that. ugh soo irresponsible. AAAHHHH.
if i ever do ANYTHING REMOTELY SIMILAR to this...i deserve to be taken back to kindergarten and schooled all over again, because obviously i did not learn anything in all my years of life. UGH.
