So Dorjan came down to visit for two days and he brought me a really nice Christmas present. I now have beautiful colored pencils that work WAY better than my previous ones. Combined with the fact I'm finally home with my forgotten sketch book I had to sit down and draw something. Which of course I had artists block so I just kept freehanding until something came out.
I haven't drawn much lately but I was pleasantly surprised to find that people come out looking a lot better than the past despite my lack of practice. I think this has something to do with all of the anatomy and health realated classes I've been taking. Scaner's never do colored pencils justice but at least it takes out some of the lighter smuges. It also cut some of the chin off because my book is too large for it. Of course that really doesn't do much more than forcably center the composition and I'm happy I was at least able to get in the majority of it. Anyway, take the peice as you will any one who wants an explination can ask for it but I think it's better when we come up with them on our own.
