I second that, some of that stuff is just plain gross! Another reason for me not to wear any of that anymore;). I figure after 20 years he's pretty much stuck with me so why bother with the makeup :D

LOL

I wear loose powder and a bit of eyeshadow, and that's it. Some days I skip it altogether.

haha yeah... i wish i could feel sexy with my blotchy oily skin:( it was so gorgeous and clear and smooth when i was pregnant, but now... all bets are off again. ugh.

i'm lucky my hubby loves me no matter what, and he tells me i'm beautiful every day, but i still like to try and spruce up a bit because i feel like it's important for us to look good for each other. i know it probably sounds horrible, but we like to pretend we still care about that stuff like we did when we first started dating:) too bad i've gained over forty pounds since then... oh well;)

I found that site a long time ago, and was horrified when I read what was in the items I was using!!! Why would they expose us to that- it's sickening!!!

I loved it when my babies slept with me as they got a bit older!! Nothing sweeter than waking up to snuggle them in the night or morning!! I'll bet she is so cute. :)

Let me know how the oil cleansing method works for you as I have always wanted to try it out!! I'm chicken. ;P

And good luck with the police dispatcher job- my grandfather did that until he passed away and he loved it!!

yeah, i know! how can it even be legal? i had no idea that burt's bees was so unsafe for my little munchkin. i didn't even learn about johnson and johnson's until after i had used their aveeno products on my son on the rare occasion we got to bathe him. sigh. even now, burt's bees AND tom's of maine were bought by colgate and clorox so now they'll probably change their formulas and even if that doesn't happen, those companies still test on animals. and they're considered some of the worst companies as far as social responsibility goes, too. it's very disappointing. i love the way burts smells, and we use toms toothpaste religiously. we'll have to change it now ( ... )

I worked long shifts too when my girls were small, 10 hours, all nights. I felt it let me be with them more. As long as you feel she is safe and happy you'll adjust.
hugs, I know it's hard even to think about leaving her now, cross that bridge when you come to it!

hi :-D

my girls slept with me too, and I also had my hand on their tummies until we both fell asleep. It does feel natural and right doesn't it :-)

good going on the vegetarian and pilates !

enjoy your evening!

Praying for you and the job, I bet you'd be great at it!

thanks diana!:) i'm hoping i get it because it'll pay like $4,000 a month and we only need $400 to pay the bills. so we'd be able to save a lot of money!

josh and i are talking about doing some studying abroad when we're able to. we'd like to go to europe or scandinavia. i hope we find someplace awesome and we can just live there forever and ever in our yurt:) haha

i love having nona in bed with us. it feels so good to be close to her. i feel like we're building a very precious bond.

that is GOOD money, I only make around 3,000 a month if I worked 40 hours a week. Great, I am so happy for you :-D

I'd love it if you all came to see me :-D

it is a very precious bond and it sets them up for happiness for the rest of their lives, a safe platform to build on.

I do miss those baby snuggle days. I think he was 6 or 7 before he stopped sneaking into our bed at night. But at 14 and 15 there just isn't room for those morning sneak ins;)

did you ever hear that kenny loggins, the singer, had a family bed with all eighty million children he has with his wife? i thought it was really interesting...

maybe you guys could do a family bed one night per week where you camp out together in the living room?;)

Actually we camp a lot so that qualifies as our family sleep time;). Sometimes we even set up our camping yurt in the backyard just to 'camp out' the neighbors think we are a pretty weird family;)
