sigh
so i had interviewed for a retail job and i was like 99% certain i was going to get it. then they called me yesterday and told me they chose someone else.
so not only am i out of a potential job, but that means it's back to applying for more jobs. and that also means that i can't put in some custom pad orders (among other things, but i hate that i started dealing with a couple women and now i have to say "oh wait, nevermind!").
is there good news though? yeah. nona is the good news. she's developing really quickly:) look at what she can do:
she can grip the toy with both hands, shake it, and bring it to her mouth:) that's a little bit ahead of schedule, but we're quickly getting the impression that nona in general wants to be ahead of schedule.
she's also sitting up really well if you give her a bit of support.
and i don't have a picture capable of showing it, but she talks alllll the time. they aren't words yet, but she babbles incessantly. i love it. she's such a happy baby:)
here's one more just cuz it's cute:
that's her "talking" to her friends (the duck and frog). she LOVES these things. she seems to hold conversations with them whenever she is in her car seat. i love it.
in other news, i've been working on a quilt. you should look at it and give me your opinions/advice. i'm really working hard on figuring it all out. i'm not sure about the colors and i think it looks really amateurish but hey, it IS my first quilt after all. i'm making it for my sister's birthday. she'll be 27. sheesh.
and in case you're wondering... yes, those are snakes. my sister has snakes and she loves em so i thought she would like this.
*whew* okay. i'm gonna go.
