(no subject)
eck, so cold out today. i think it got to about 45? so much for the 70 degree weather.
yesterday the isa group went to alcazaba, this castle that i walk by everyday to get to class. the name reminds me of something out of harry potter. we had the person that never stops talking, but the view of the city made up for it.
i think the highlight for today will be going to get a new pair of shoes since my puma´s have decided to die on me from the excessive amounts of walking i´ve been doing since i´ve gotten here.
so. i tried mailing a few people back home today. i was heading up the steps to the post office (it´s about a flight) when i saw about 150 workers with a banner, protesting for better wages. as soon as they stop the strike, or at least stop having the angry mob out front, i´ll send them.
i´m really looking forward to this weekend. they´re having la carnival here which is mardi gras times 10. i also have my grammar class tomorrow morning from 8-10, but nothing else for the rest of the day. i´m hoping to wake up a bit earlier so i can take a few pictures of the sunrise by the beach. yah. i´m a nerd.
oh yah! i´m going to rome! i´ll be there from march 23rd to the 27th. can´t wait!
