"I know that I've let you down..."

Okay, so I missed two days' worth of updating. The first night was because I fell asleep. I was rewatching "Andromeda Strain" with my parents, and I fell asleep somewhere during the third hour. The second night was because Jennifer had the computer upstairs, and I didn't really feel like going on the big computer because I like my laptop so much better. I'm really going to try to not let this happen again.

I finally got around to finishing Becki's story about werewolves and letting her know what I thought of it. I really liked it. Today was another writer's meeting, and I'm not there. That's sort of depressing, as I like going to those. Instead, I reread "Degeneration." The screnzy page says to read the whole thing without a pen in your hand, but I went ahead and crossed out all the things I added simply to make the page count. I also made sure all the Lindseys were spelled the same. I have a lot of work to do with that screenplay. Callie, the youngest sister, really needs to disappear because she keeps talking, and I just keep brushing her off, which really wouldn't work. She'd need more attention than that. I also need to work on Shawna's, the middle sister's, character. She's there but just barely. She needs to have more lines. Actually, so does Rebecca, the main character. I also need to rework some of the scenes between Molly and Alaina, who are always fighting and don't really need to be.

Surprisingly enough, it's the scenes towards the end of the screenplay, the 30-ish pages I wrote in those last seven hours, that I like the most. I'm not saying they're perfect, but I wouldn't be completely ashamed to show them to people. I still need to work Marissa more into the wedding scene and make the fight much more dramatic (perhaps include a literal fighthing as opposed to just yelling), as right now the wedding's not really destroyed, just interrupted a little.
