Every Morning
Every day, when I walk from the Express Bus stop, to the 10 Bus stop-- I pass a lobby door on Sansome & Pine. Inside, there is a door man who sits at a marble desk-- and as you pass he waves and silently says "Good Morning" through the glass.
He always has a smile on his face-- and he literally brightens my day, every day.
Every day I pass him, I tell myself of all the things I post in LJ, i should give him a dedicated post.
I regret passing out all of my valentines-- I made a few extra, but didn't get the chance to give him one. Then again, if I talk to him inside the glass, will that ruin our morning hellos?
