There sure are a lot of kids.

So how many other parents out there are missing their little bundles of joy? Misery loves company. [Okay so he's not miserable, but he does have a penchant for the dramatic.]

Hmm... [He's not quite sure what to say to that, but... well... he really does miss his.]

[... Well, he didn't mean for that to record. Nrrrrgh stupid journal and its stupid ability to turn on by itself at the worst of times.]

Your child is safe in your world, then?

Safe and sound. I'm not really worried about her since time doesn't pass there while I'm here.

Not worried, yes. [But still lonely and sad, and thinking about them constantly... Yup. Sounds like him.]

You sound like you understand.

How's yours?

The same.

[Kratos has to believe that. The possibility had been presented that those who were "sent home" were actually thrown outside of the barrier, where even worse things were happening, but... if Kratos believed that Lloyd was out there, suffering where Kratos couldn't reach him... He isn't sure if he could function day to day.]

You sound awfully unsure.

What gave you such an idea?

[Damn, this guy is hard to rattle. Time to rethink his approach.]

Nothing; I was taking a shot in the dark. I'm not so sure I'm right about time not moving, after all.

I believe you may be. Some have returned to their world and came here once again, claiming that they were in the very same place where they had originally been taken from.

... Some, however, have been returned to their world with no other word of their well-being. [Such is the case with Lloyd. Thinking too much about it makes him want to shut himself in his room for a while, though.]

So basically we have no guarantee that they really have gone back.

It's also plausible that certain people have been brought here and are being held somewhere else.

If you wish to think of it that way, yes.

[Kratos would rather remain optimistic. Rather, he can't be anything else, regarding this situation.]

[Well whatever, he didn't make this post to talk about what ifs and depressing, unrelated shit anyway.]

So what's your kid like?

[Good, they're getting off the depressing subject to... an awkward subject. Kratos doesn't exactly gush about his kid to people he's just met and all.]

He is... stubborn, headstrong and resilient. Once an idea gets into his head, he'll see it through no matter if the odds seem impossible.

I suppose that's what led him to be so successful in his life, though.

[why would you EVER not want to talk about your beautiful child to people you just met, SERIOUSLY]

"Successful in life?" So he's a bit older then. [Which is weird, since this gentleman looks like he's in his twenties.]
