work.

At work I find it hard to handle when I'm trying so hard to catch up on a really difficult day and the person with the shift following mine decides to point out all the things I have done wrong, when really I just wasn't doing it their way.

Today was frustrating. Our film processor went down yesterday at 4, so after that - no film orders could go through. The tech came out this morning, however after taking apart both the film processor and printer and putting them back together so they would work (which took him until noon, which was to be expected) he left a rather large mess for me to clean up. I cannot blame him for that - he was frustrated with the lack of care we take with the machines, when truth be told we simply take care of them the way we have been instructed, we were simply never told to do the things he expects of us. So from noon till five I'm working as fast as I can to get caught up on the orders we are backed up on (53 rolls of film and a handful of digital) and I'm unable to get it all done. My coworker has complained about me enough to anyone who would listen this evening I am sure, as when our shifts overlap I hear enough of her complaints about others. Tomorrow I work another 8-5, and she works 4:30-9:30, yet again. I have no sympathy for her.

Sometimes venting is the only thing I'm good for.
