I'm such a drama queen about my eyes
I went to the doctor to have an eye exam. I haven't had my vision checked since 1999 and the last time I went it, they made me do this 3 hour exam where they check my complete field of vision with tiny dots on a screen because my eyes were suspicious for glaucoma, in the back of my eye and also the pressure. I had better than perfect vision and so I went on with my life, but I didn't want to have to take that again. I have however clearly lost my perfect eyesight since the pregnancy and it was pretty clear that it wasn't coming back, so I finally broke down and went since I we have a big driving trip coming up and I wanted to make sure I was okay to drive. I was pretty concerned. The doctor prescribed me glasses. I have 20/25 in one eye and 20/30 in the other. He told me to only use them when I was driving or at a movie/theater or at a Spurs game. I have very little fashion sense and didn't really know even what kind of glasses to choose, so I bought the cheapest pair. I figure if I don't much care and I know P might not even notice when I'm wearing them, that there isn't a reason to spend more.
