Stolen from various people! And I intend to go and fill out a few of these in places later. I cheated ever so slightly with mine here, because one if the first line of a chapter but pfft rules.

"I saw," Ianto said, doing his absolute best not to share his wife's enthusiasm. He glanced at his watch and then at Captain Jack Harkness's office. Take a look around, he'd said. Five minutes and then I'll give you the grand tour.
He was five minutes late.
Lisa, bless her, hadn't noticed, but Ianto had, and he couldn't help but wonder if this was a test.
To make conversation, he added, "Not much for decor, are they?" He looked up as if to make his point. This place was dingy, a bit depressing, and nothing like Torchwood One. And yet that was something Ianto liked about it, if he were being honest.
"You can redecorate later," Harkness called, sounding smug. When Ianto looked over, there he was, halfway to the stairs, his hands in his pockets and his coat splayed out behind him. Like he practiced it, which he probably did.
"Well, Mr. and Mrs. Jones," he said as he hopped off the bottom step. He raised his eyebrows. "Whaddaya think?"
"Not bad," Ianto said, at the same time that Lisa exclaimed, "Your mainframe is amazing!"
For a moment, Harkness obviously couldn't decide who to answer. Finally, he let his gaze slide over Ianto--who felt oddly like a curiosity being committed to memory--and focused on Lisa. "Is it?" he asked, his voice completely unreadable. Hard, for a moment.
Ianto was suddenly afraid that they had done something wrong and that Harkness was angry, but of course, as he looked as Lisa, he realized that she was too confident to have such fears--or, at the very least, to show them.
"Yes," she said, turning from the hand in the jar. She smiled, all genuine excitement. "One of your computers was logged in. It's organic, isn't it? I mean, I've seen that before, but--whoever designed your security protocols, they're genius!"
And just like that, his whole demeanor changed. All the hints of anger, gone.
"Toshiko Sato, and she is. Plenty more where that came from, too. She's been turning the whole place inside out. Ask her about it sometime."
Lisa, Ianto thought, was about to say something else, but Harkness interrupted. He grinned, probably to show off either his dimples or his teeth, and nodded toward the lift. "Want to see the lower levels?"
"I thought you'd never ask," said Ianto, and he was rewarded with a short, rich, real laugh, as Harkness took off toward the already-open cog door.
Lisa bumped her hip against his and whispered, "I told you it wouldn't hurt to look."
He rolled his eyes.
"You know, when I walk," Harkness called without turning around, his voice echoing through the Hub, "you're supposed to follow."
Lisa slipped her hand into Ianto's. Then, with only a glance at each other, they did.
