vague specifiity
It is time to get to work. After another all night studio session (usually 2 per week) we finally got our final studio assignment. Like our other class' final projects, the description of this monstrous task is 2 sentences. Basically, design ___ the rest is up to you. So you can't really rely on the specifications to be inspired. I just hadn't really done many papers or projects that were my entire grade, where I was free to choose the topic, format and basically only study what I am interested in. What a concept. Go to school to learn about what interests you. I just hope I am interested enough to write 3 10 page papers and make a 36x36" presentation board in the next month!
in other news..i can't stop knitting! it has the calming effect of tv, plus the added bonus of having something new to wear. so if anyone wants me to knit them something for christmas, put your order in now! (1800 number coming soon...)
oh yeah, so in accordance with the "finality" of these projects and my rediculous knitting,
im going to make a sweater
and wear it during my final presentation
because we all like fairytale endings
p.s. the point, nyc "if it was open 24 hours it would have been made just for [me]"
