imagine that you have a box. a nice box, not just some cardboard shoebox, a really cool box that you found one day and were lucky enough to get away with taking home. imagine you start putting everything in to this box, everything you've done and accomplished, and leave some room for everything you plan to do to fit perfectly, little momentos of your accomplishment. imagine these things are more like a liquid than pieces of paper.

now imagine a real piece of paper comes to you, in that metal mailbox outside your house, and your mom sets it on your bed, and when you rip it open to read it, the words sink in. imagine that as soon as they do, that box completely disappears, causing that liquid to run all over everything, staining it and ruining it and what not.

so what do you do? do you try to keep it and hold it until you get the box, maybe in a year's time? or do you start brand new, with a new box, one that maybe fits you a bit better?

i didn't get into communications. i'm in to UT, but i'm in the college of liberal arts, currently as an english major.

yeah.
